PURPOSE: An apparatus for sterilizing and removing a bad smell is provided to generate forced convection in an enclosed space so that a temperature control is freely performed. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for sterilizing and removing a bad smell comprise a case(100), a fan, a heat exchanger(300), a sterilizer for removing a bad smell, and a filter. The heat exchanger is embedded in the case. The fan generates forced convection in a space where the case is installed by discharging the air sucked through a suction port. The heat exchange between the heat fluid and air occurs in the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is installed between the fan and the suction port or a discharge port. The driving shaft of the fan is placed in a virtual line extended from the center of the suction port. A unit for changing a wind direction is formed outside the case. The unit for changing the wind direction is supplied with the driving force from the fan, and changes the discharge direction of air being discharged through the discharge port.
