<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently writing data to a flash ROM. <P>SOLUTION: An MPU of an electronic controller divides data to be written to a flash ROM 13 into one-byte data (byte data) (S130), and selects the respective byte data constituting the data to be written as data to be processed in order (S140). Then the MPU compares the data to be processed with byte data corresponding to the data to be processed which is stored in the flash ROM (S150), and writes the data to be processed to the flash ROM in an additional writing manner (S160) when the data to be processed is obtained by altering the contents of data stored in the flash ROM (Yes at S150). When the data to be processed is not the data obtained by altering the contents of the data stored in the flash ROM (No at S150), the data to be processed is not written to the flash ROM. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
