<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella in which one almost round cloth is used, and is easily held at ribs only to be finished, and moreover a cover is stretched which can effectively prevent the loose of a cutting edge that is the fault of a knit cloth. <P>SOLUTION: The umbrella includes: a shaft becoming an umbrella axle; two or more main ribs 2 disposed at an upper part of the shaft rotatably; a catching rib that is a member in which both ends thereof are pivoted between a lower runner sliding along the shaft and the middle of these main ribs, and which makes these main ribs open and close when the lower runner is made to slide; a cover 4 which is one almost round knit sheet consisting of knit cloth, has a shape and size that can cover all of the umbrella, is made to cover from an upper side of these main ribs to be sewed and fixed, and elastically stretches when these main ribs are opened; and a framing tape 4a which is attached to a peripheral part of the cover in a framing shape, and elastically stretches with the cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
