<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting abnormal combustion ranging from minor abnormal combustion within an input range of an AD conversion circuit to major subnormal combustion exceeding the input range without a significant increase in cost, and to provide a control device for an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The scale of abnormal combustion is determined based on digital data output form an AD conversion circuit 8, and the combustion is specified as major abnormal combustion when an over range detection circuit 10 detects an over range. With this configuration, there is no need to provide separate AD conversion circuits for the determination of major abnormal combustion and minor abnormal combustion, thus achieving inexpensive detection of abnormal combustion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
