摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scintillator crystal body having an optical waveguide function, by which partition wall formation for crosstalk prevention is not required and comprising an unidirectional phase separation structure, and to provide the scintillator having optical waveguide function instead of forming the partition wall, in the scintillator used for radiation detection such as X-ray computed tomography scanner. <P>SOLUTION: The scintillator crystal body is produced so that the scintillator crystal body has the phase separation structure comprising two phases of a first crystal phase forming a plurality of columnar crystals having unidirectionality and a second crystal phase covering the side surface of the first crystal phase, wherein at least the second crystal phase comprises a material having CuCl or CuBr and the second crystal phase emits light by radiation excitation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
