<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for biological sample contact having electric characteristics and physical properties necessary for electric measurement of biological samples. <P>SOLUTION: A measuring electrode 1 in which a phenol derivative is deposited on a surface of a conductor by electrolytic polymerization is provided. In the measuring electrode 1, a silane compound may be bound to a polymer to which the phenol derivative is polymerized. The measuring electrode 1 has an insulating film 11 deposited by the electropolymerization, so that even a conductor with a minute shape or a complicated shape can be subjected to insulation coating and shows a favorable electrical insulation. The silane compound may be bound to the polymer to change a hydrophilic property or hydrophobic property of the insulating film 11 to control affinity for a biological sample. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
