<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for properly evaluating the movement of set points set in notable points. <P>SOLUTION: Ultrasonic image data from a plurality of time phases is stored in an image storage unit 22. A pattern matching unit 30 searches for moving points corresponding to set points set in the image data in a reference time phase in the image data of a search time phase on the basis of a correlation calculation performed on the image data. In this way, moving points for set points are searched across a plurality of time phases.
