<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent, a method and a test kit for easily analyzing and counting tumor cells or any other rare cells isolated from a biological sample, and magnetic particles used for these method and test kit. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a method for inspecting any incipient cancer in a test object and fractions of peripheral blood in which circulating neoplastic cells are enriched. The method comprises (a) preparing cell fractions from a biological sample obtained from a test object in an immunology magnetic manner, where the sample includes a mixed cell population which has the possibility of containing cancer cells and includes a large amount of disturbing substances, and enriching the cell fractions for cancer cells if the cancer cells exist in the biological sample, and (b) analyzing such enriched fractions for the presence of the cancer cells, where the presence of cancer cells in the sample indicates the existence of incipient cancer in the test object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
