The guide (11) has a set of guides, each including a guide base formed on a surface of a transparent substrate (12). The bases are separated by an open area having a width, on the surface. Each base overlaps another area having a width, on the surface. Each adjacent guide includes a facing side that forms an obtuse angle with the surface. The ratio of the widths is equal to N, where N is an integer greater than 2. A tapered cross section includes a width widest near an incidence surface of the substrate. A reflection layer is formed on a side surface of each guide. An independent claim is also included for a method for generating images. |
