<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce radiation noise, in an outboard motor having a resin head cover and a resin casing. <P>SOLUTION: This outboard motor includes an engine and the casing. The engine includes a cylinder, the head cover and an ignition coil device. The cylinder is formed of metal. The head cover is formed of resin, and installed in the cylinder. The ignition coil device is installed in the head cover. The casing is formed of resin, and covers the engine. The ignition coil device includes a coil, a coil casing and a radiation noise reducing part. The coil casing is formed of resin, and stores the coil. The radiation noise reducing part reduces noise radiated from the ignition coil device. The radiation noise reducing part is a metallic cover member for covering at least a part of the coil casing.
