<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for clearly picking up watermarks and paper ends and measuring a position where the watermarks are formed with high accuracy without generating dispersion. <P>SOLUTION: After presetting lighting and extinction timing of respective illuminations, paper ends and watermarks are individually picked up with a line camera to acquire one inspection image, and after detecting coordinates showing the paper ends and the watermarks from the inspection image to calculate distance from the coordinates of the paper ends to the coordinates to the watermarks, whether or not the calculated distance between the respective coordinates is within an allowable range is determined to determine acceptance of a position where the watermarks are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
