<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue for a seat belt device and the seat belt device, capable of preventing or suppressing movement of a webbing from a shoulder side to a lap side without causing a localized load to be applied to the webbing while such movement is prevented or suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A slider body 134 is at least spaced apart from a base part 124 by the thickness of a webbing 26. When the tension of the webbing 26 is increased to break a shear pin 140, the other end in a width direction of the slider body 134 (i.e., an end part opposite an insertion part 14) is further slid to a proximal end side of a tongue 120 (i.e., the side opposite the insertion part 14) than the end part of a through-hole 126 at the opposite side of the insertion part 14. Accordingly, the webbing 26 is not only in slide contact with the slider body 134, but also in slide contact with a part opposite the insertion part 14 in an inner circumferential part of the through-hole 126, and a proximal end side from the part in slide contact with the inner circumferential part of the through-hole 126 in the webbing 26 is in slide contact with a surface opposite the slider 132 of a winding part 125. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
