<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a fuel tank system that suppresses the rise of the tank internal temperature of a fuel tank when the outside air temperature is higher than the tank internal temperature, and also, efficiently dissipates heat from the fuel tank when the outside air temperature is lower than the tank internal temperature of the fuel tank. <P>SOLUTION: At least a part of the fuel tank 14 is sheathed with a hollow cover 28 being a separate body from the fuel tank 14. The system is configured to apply a negative pressure from an engine or the like into a hollow part 44 of the hollow cover 28, thereby enhancing the thermal insulating properties. The hollow part 44 is exposed to the atmosphere, thereby reducing the thermal insulating properties and efficiently dissipating heat from the fuel tank 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
