The device (1) has a liquid-permeable filtering bag (3) comprising a tubular side wall (20) connected to a rigid basket (2) opposite an inner surface (5a) of tubular housing (5) of the basket. The bag has meshes (19) whose dimensions are lower with respect to dimensions of meshes (51) of the housing. The bag has a side opening (25) whose dimensions correspond to that of oblong/oval side opening (13) of the housing. A fixing unit (4) secures the basket and the bag and centres the openings with respect to each other so as to assure entry of water into the bag by passing through the openings.
