PURPOSE: A wave type training device for strengthening a waist muscle is provided to exercise a waist by up and down wave motions while a user grasps a handle and rotates. CONSTITUTION: A wave type training device for strengthening a waist muscle includes a chair frame(110) comprising an upper plate frame, a bottom frame, and a supporting frame; an arm body frame(140) in which a lower frame and an upper frame are installed and fixed in the one end part of the upper plate frame and one end part of each rotation arm(120,130) is inserted in both end parts in order to be rotatable; rotatable rollers(150,160) respectively inserted into each of the rotation arm end part in order to be rotatable; rotation brackets(170,180) respectively having a handle in the end part; and rotation control parts(190,200) having a control portion controlling a rotation control belt.
