摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have deterioration less conspicuous in image quality in pixels for focus detection due to interpolation processing of the pixels for focus detection in a boundary between an arranged region and a non-arranged region of the pixels for focus detection when the arranged region of the pixels for focus detection is limited to a partial region in an imaging region. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: imaging elements (107) having a first region where a plurality of pixels for focus detection capable of respectively outputting image signals obtained by respectively and independently receiving flux passed through different pupil regions in an optical system are mixed in at a predetermined first mixture ratio in a pixel region composing an imaging screen and a second region where the pixels for focus detection are mixed in at a second mixture ratio which is lower than the first mixture ratio; and an image processing circuit (125) for interpolating the image signals obtained from the first region and the second region by using an interpolation pattern for interpolating the image signals obtained from the pixels for focus detection included in the first region for the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
