<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a journal bearing device like a tilting journal bearing (tilting pad bearing) device and the like which has an LBP structure and is excellent in oscillation stability. <P>SOLUTION: The journal bearing device is made to serve as a tilting pad bearing device 10 a tilting pad bearing 11 of the LBP structure that has, for example, a bearing housing 13 and a plurality of bearing pads 15A-15E disposed on the inner peripheral face 13a of the bearing housing 13, and supports the load of the rotor 14 of a rotary machine horizontally inserted inside the plurality of bearing pads 15A-15E, with two lower side bearing pads 15C and 15C of the plurality of bearing pads 15A-15E; a circular bearing ring 41 that encloses the periphery of the bearing housing 13 to form an oil reservoir (oil reserving groove 41c) where both sides are filled with oil in the horizontal direction; and a bearing table 12 where the circular bearing ring 41 is mounted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
