<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for a water-based ballpoint pen having characteristics excellent in writing stability generating no writing failure such as blur. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink composition for the water-based ballpoint pen, an oil phase is contained in an aqueous phase in the state of an oil-in-water type emulsion. The oil phase, or the oil phase and the aqueous phase, contain a colorant, and the oil phase contains 50 mass% or more of an aromatic organic solvent, and 5 mass% or more and less than 50 mass% of a 6-22C fatty acid, in components that compose the oil phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
