<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of appropriately performing an adjustment of a developed image without depending on pixel density. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: an exposing device for forming a latent image on a photoreceptor; an image forming section including a developing section that causes developer to adhere to the photoreceptor by applying a developing bias thereto, develops the latent image and forms a developer image for forming a plurality of types of images for density detection having pixel density different from one another corresponding to image data on a conveying member by the developer, S10 and S40; a density detecting section for detecting density of the plurality of types of images for density detection, S20 and S50; and a developing bias setting section. The developing bias setting section compares detected image density of each of the images for density detection detected and reference density corresponding to each of the images for density detection, S70, and sets a developing bias corresponding to the image data to a developing bias value obtained by adding or subtracting a predetermined amount to/from a reference bias value corresponding to the image data in response to conditions obtained by combining results of comparison between the detected image density and the reference density. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
