<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal plane shutter that prevents contact of a shutter with an imager, and an optical instrument with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The focal plane shutter comprises: first, second and third substrates arranged in that order from a substrate side and having the respective apertures though which light made incident on the imager from the substrate side is passed; the shutter arranged between the first and second substrates and able to open or close the apertures; and a pressing member arranged between the second and third substrates, unconnected to the shutter, and pressing the second substrate from the imager side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
