<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catheter whose distal end is bendable within the same plane without causing breakage at a joint part between a ring-shaped electrode and a lead wire even with a short distance between ring-shaped electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode catheter includes a shaft 10 in which a plurality of lumens are arranged along a circumferential direction and the distal end 10A is bendable; operating wires 61, 62 for bending the distal end 10A of the shaft 10; a plurality of ring-shaped electrodes 302-320 adhesively fixed at spaces to the outer peripheral surface of the distal end 10A of the shaft 10; and a plurality of lead wires 402-420 connected to the ring-shaped electrodes 302-320 respectively. The lead wire connected to the n-th ring-shaped electrode from the distal end, the lead wire connected to the (n+1)th ring-shaped electrode from the distal end, and the lead wire connected to the (n+2)th ring-shaped electrode from the distal end are extended in the different lumens respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
