<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of effectively presenting information of the vehicle to a viewer by design enabling three-dimensional vision without impairing visibility of the design. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display 30 is capable of making a driver three-dimensionally recognize an icon 60 as the design at a position deviated from a display screen 31 by amount Dg of running out from a display screen 31. The amount Dg of running out from the display screen 31 of the icon 60 is controlled to be reduced as a visual confirmation position of the driver is away from the display screen 31. Accordingly, the driver hardly feels discomfort caused by the three-dimensional vision even if a change in focal distance becomes large as to the movement of line of sight from a remote place to the display screen 31.
