<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear power plant which allows isolation valves provided in piping of the nuclear power plant to be appropriately operative to be opened and to continue open states in a case where the isolation valves are determined to be required for opening operation even when total power loss including an emergency power source continues for a long time period. <P>SOLUTION: A combustible gas exhaust pipe 12 opening in a dry well 4 of a reactor containment vessel 3 passes through the reactor containment vessel 3 and extends outside a reactor building 8. Isolation valves 13 and 14 are provided in the combustible gas exhaust pipe 12 inside and outside the reactor containment vessel 3. Two pieces of wiring 15 and 16 are connected to the isolation valves 13 and 14, and wiring 15A connected to the wiring 15 and wiring 16A connected to the wiring 16 are connected to a terminal board 31 installed outside the reactor building 8. At the time of total power loss when an abnormal event occurs, a power generator mounted on a transport vehicle is connected to the terminal board 31. By electricity generated by the power generator, the isolation valves 13 and 14 are fully opened. Hydrogen in the dry well passing through the combustible gas exhaust pipe 12 is treated by a combustible gas treating device mounted on the transport vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
