<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that ensures fixing capability while preventing a decrease in productivity when successively applying fixing processing to a plurality of recording media. <P>SOLUTION: If a temperature of a paper feed area TA detected by a first temperature detection unit 71 is higher than a fixing temperature TF after completion of printing of paper P having small width, an image forming apparatus 1 sets a drive start temperature TD on the basis of an amount of correlation between the temperature of a paper feed area TA and a storage unit 82, and determines whether or not aging drive should be performed on the basis of a comparison between the drive start temperature TD and a temperature of a non-paper feed area TB detected by a second temperature detection unit 72. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
