<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air battery in which evaporation of an electrolyte solvent through an air introduction port on an air electrode side can be suppressed at an extremely high level. <P>SOLUTION: An air battery includes: an air electrode serving as a positive electrode; a negative electrode; an electrolyte; and a battery case housing the air electrode, the negative electrode and the electrolyte. In the air battery, an air introduction port is provided on an air electrode side of the battery case, and a liquid supply means having a function is provided, the function supplying a liquid into the air introduction port when the battery is not used, while extracting the liquid when the battery is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
