<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety management system and a safety management method capable of stopping the corresponding function of a portable electronic device, based on the positional information of the portable electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: The safety management system is applicable between a portable electronic device and a server storing a function limiting list. Functions of a portable electronic device being stopped corresponding to the different type of positional information thereof are recorded in the function limiting list. The safety management system includes an information provision module providing the positional information of a portable electronic device, a function limiting module for generating a function limiting instruction on the basis of the positional information and the function limiting list, and a function stop module for stopping the corresponding function of a portable electronic device on the basis of the function limiting instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
