<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying machine capable of surely taking air into or exhausting air from the drying air channel and suppressing the generation of noise in the drying process. <P>SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine comprises: an exhaust duct 73; a guiding plate 74 disposed at a part communicating with the exhaust duct 73; and a stepping motor 74a for controlling the direction of the guiding plate 74 to surely exhaust wet dry air, which passes through a connecting duct 69, from the exhaust duct 73 and take dry air from inlet 69a into the connecting duct 69. The guiding plate 74 is configured to circulate dry air with the direction of the guiding plate 74 being approximately parallel with the connecting duct 69 if it is not necessary to take dry air from the inlet 69a. It is not necessary to maintain a high pressure in the exhaust duct 73, while suppressing the generation of noise caused by a blower fan 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
