<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of pages that may be forcedly printed with the remaining ink when an ink end occurs in at least one ink cartridge in an inkjet printer. <P>SOLUTION: When an image formation output is executed while detecting that an ink remaining amount of an ink cartridge 10 is zero, information is generated for driving and controlling a recording head 34 so that the image formation output is executed with the ink other than the color in which the ink remaining amount of the ink cartridge 10 is zero and that an ink consumption amount is smaller than that during the image formation output in a normal condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
