<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine that has a multistage supercharger, and ensures an EGR amount without increasing pumping loss. <P>SOLUTION: A diesel engine 10 includes: a first supercharger 50 disposed at an intake pipe 21; a second supercharger 40 disposed at a downstream side of the first supercharger in the middle of the intake pipe; and a low pressure EGR device 70 for extracting a part of exhaust gas of an engine from an exhaust pipe 32 and introducing the exhaust gas to an upstream side of the first supercharger in the middle of the intake pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
