<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a webbing reeling device which is provided to be turnable with respect to a reeling device body and is capable of downsizing an acceleration sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 82 of this webbing reeling device 10 is provided with a sensor housing 102 on which a spherical object 110 is placed. A turning shaft 142 is formed on a vertical wall 118 of a supporting wall 116 of the sensor housing 102 and is turnably supported by a bearing hole 144 formed in a supporting wall 86 of a hanger 84. The formation position of the turning shaft 142 is set above the gravity-center position of the sensor housing 102 in the state in which a sensor lever 130 is attached to the supporting wall 116 and the spherical object 110 is placed on a curved surface 106 of a placement part 104. Therefore, even if a heavy object is not attached to the lower side of the spherical object 110 or to the lower side of the sensor housing 102, the sensor housing 102 can be turned with good reactivity when the reeling device body 12 is tilted.
