<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame garnish mounting structure that can secure a strength of a garnish to a load from a vehicle outside without increasing the number of parts nor decreasing design flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: A mounting structure includes: an insertion hole 14 formed in a standing column part 11 (frame 10); a support protrusion 22 and a locking protrusion 23 projected in a garnish body 21 of a garnish 20 and inserted in an insertion hole 14; an engaging column part 43 that is provided in a clip 40 attached to a weather strip 30, engaging with a locking protrusion 23 by being inserted in an insertion hole 14 between the support protrusion 22 and the locking protrusion 23, and fastening the weather strip 30 and the garnish 20 holding the standing column 11; and a locking piece 44. A gap Δ1 is set between both end surfaces of the support protrusion 22 and the locking protrusion 23 and the facing surfaces of the weather strips 30 (mounting wall 32) and a gap Δ2 is set between the apical surface of engaging column part 43 and the facing surface of the garnish body 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
