PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type electric motor vehicle with a compact charging receptacle, configured to reliably prevent generation of arc discharge when a charging plug is inserted to/removed from the charging receptacle.SOLUTION: An MCU 90 and a switch 42 change a state of a signal flowing in a communication wire 113 connected to a BMS 103 for controlling power supply between the receptacle 53 and a battery 6 immediately before or after a vehicle body frame moves. The BMS 103 cuts off or prevents power supply between the receptacle 53 and the battery 6 before releasing connection of a terminal of a plug 55 and a terminal of the receptacle 53, in response to a signal state of the communication wire 113. |
