PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply device that implements a light and inexpensive device by reducing a reactor capacity installed at a rectifier output end.SOLUTION: A voltage ripple correction control system is provided for correcting voltage ripples generated from a rectifier. The voltage ripple correction control system computes an average voltage value of an output voltage or an input voltage of a chopper circuit, computes a deviation of the output voltage or input voltage from the average voltage value such that the output voltage or input voltage becomes the average voltage value, and modulates a pulse width of a driving signal for the chopper circuit in synchronization with voltage ripples generated from the rectifier on the basis of the computed deviation to suppress propagation of the voltage ripples to an output. |
