PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain completely pure amorphous alloy thin sheets of various kinds of metal materials, which have thickness and width exceeding limit of the conventional production dimensions; to obtain quasi-amorphous alloy thin sheets partially including a crystal structure; and to obtain composite sheets (amorphous alloy coating film-coated sheets) comprising a pure amorphous alloy thin sheet or a quasi-amorphous alloy thin sheet and various kinds of metal sheets.SOLUTION: A raw material metal powder is melted by using heat of a combustion gas and flow of a conveyance gas in an inert gas atmosphere, and is jetted through a required nozzle to form a jet flow of ultrafine melt droplets of the raw material metal. Then, after amorphizing the whole or a portion of the flowing ultrafine melt droplets of the raw material metal by blowing a cooling medium gas or a cooling medium mist to the jet flow of the melt droplets, the resulting materials are jetted onto a substrate so as to be collided therewith and deposited in a thickness of 60 μm or more. |
