PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that can excellently increase the capacity of a nonvolatile memory means prestored with information for executing predetermined control.SOLUTION: A display control device 100 includes a VDP 105. The VDP 105 originates drawing data for a drawing area 135 based on drawing instructions from a display CPU 102. Image data to be processed in originating the drawing data are prestored in a character ROM 106. In this case, the display control device 100 includes a writing control part 121. The writing control part 121 reads image data from the character ROM 106 based on transfer instructions from the display CPU 102, and transfers the read image data to a bridge-side RAM 107. The transfer of the image data is completed before the timing when the image data are used in the VDP 105. |
