PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of improving an image forming speed without requiring excessively high heat resistance to an exposure device.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes: an image carrier on which an electrostatic latent image is formed; an exposure device that irradiates the image carrier with light, and has a housing that defines a storage space in which an optical device for forming the electrostatic latent image is stored; and a main housing that has a dust-proof wall that partitions the space in which the exposure device is stored. The housing includes a first opening wall on which a first opening for communicating the storage space with the space is formed; and the optical device irradiates the image carrier with the light through the first opening. |
