PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous coating material capable of reducing labor in storage, distribution and the like and exhibiting excellent antifouling properties in a formed coating film.SOLUTION: A coating material includes a synthetic resin emulsion (A), water-dispersible silica (B) with a grain size of 1-200 nm, and a fluorine-containing compound (C) having a polyfluoroalkyl group and a nonionic/amphoteric hydrophilic group as essential components. The components (A), (B), and (C) are mixed at the following mixing ratios to the total amount of the coating material: a solid content in the component (A) is 1-50 wt.%; a solid content in the component (B) is 0.1-40 wt.%; and the component (C) is 0.01-3.0 wt.%. |
