PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device and an information display method for photographing an appropriate image and displaying the image on a display unit irrespective of the display unit being switched to left or right.SOLUTION: An information display device includes: a pair of attachment members that holds a head of a user; a head band that connects the pair of the attachment members; a first imaging unit that photographs an image; a connection unit that rotatably connects the head band and the display unit; and an image switching unit that reads a part out of an image photographed by the first imaging unit, and displays the partial image on the basis of the rotation of the display unit.
