PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation control device capable of easily executing failure diagnosis of a solar panel.SOLUTION: The power generation control device that is a panel controller 20 for controlling the power generation amount of a PV panel 10 includes: an MPPT unit 210 for controlling output of the PV panel 10 in a first range; and a communication unit 220 for processing a predetermined signal. The MPPT unit 210 changes an output range of the PV panel 10 to a second range wider than the first range on the basis of the predetermined signal.
