PURPOSE: A device for improving the indoor air quality of a vehicle is provided to sterilize the indoor air of a vehicle and obtain pleasant air inside the vehicle by being installed in the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A device for improving the indoor air quality of a vehicle comprises a filter unit and an ultraviolet ray sterilization unit (200). The filter unit filters contaminants contained in air which flows into a vehicle. The ultraviolet ray sterilization unit sterilizes the air from the filter unit by irradiating ultraviolet rays. The wavelength of the ultraviolet rays irradiated in the ultraviolet ray sterilization unit is 200-280 nm. The filter unit is equipped with a deodorizing unit to deodorize the smell of air inside the vehicle. The ultraviolet ray sterilization unit comprises a heating sterilization part (210), an ultraviolet sterilization part (220), and a blowing part (230).
