PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for surface protection films, which exhibits excellent image clarity after stuck to a display screen and which has a coating layer having both of excellent antistatic properties and easy adhesiveness and to provide the surface protection film.SOLUTION: The polyester film for surface protection films is obtained by forming the coating layer on at least one side of a multilayer polyester film. The coating layer is formed from a coating liquid containing: an acrylic resin having a reactive emulsifying agent-derived hydrophilic group in one molecule thereof; an oxazoline compound; and a compound having a quaternary ammonium group. The multilayer polyester film has ≥89% of a value of image representing properties. The surface protection film is obtained by forming a slightly tacky-adhesive layer on at least one side of the polyester film. |
