摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately suppress a failure in operating a variable nozzle mechanism resulting from the adhesion of deposits and rust.SOLUTION: A variable nozzle mechanism 30 of an exhaust turbine supercharger includes a plurality of vanes provided on the outer periphery side of a turbine wheel 2 along the peripheral direction, a plate 40 externally fitted to a bearing housing 20 and turnably supporting the vanes, and an annular link mechanism 32 for changing openings of the vanes. The link mechanism 32 is stored in an annular space 50 which is defined by a front end face 23 of a flange 22, a base end face 41 of the plate 40 opposite thereto, and an inner peripheral face 11 of a turbine housing 10. Herein, the annular space 50 is provided with an annular cover member 60 covering the link mechanism 32 at three sides, namely, the outer periphery side and the inner periphery side of the link mechanism 32 and the side of the flange 22. The cover member 60 is held by the plate 40 while forming a clearance between the bearing housing 20 and itself.
