PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition having excellent flowability and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition contains an epoxy resin (A) and a resorcinol derivative (B) as necessary components, and further contains either one or both of a cyclic phenol compound (C) represented by formula (I-2) and a chain phenol compound (D) having a constituent unit represented by formula (I-2) as a major component.
