PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning apparatus for a vehicle capable of reducing odor blown in a cabin to ensure comfort in the cabin upon air conditioning.SOLUTION: An air-conditioning apparatus includes an air-conditioning part that conditions air in a room of a vehicle; an air-conditioning control part that controls operation of the air-conditioning part; and a receiving part that receives a pre-air-conditioning instruction for performing pre-air conditioning which is air-conditioning operation predetermined by the air-conditioning part, from a portable device possessed by a user outside the room of the vehicle. When the receiving part receives the pre-air-conditioning instruction, the air-conditioning control part makes the air-conditioning part perform deodorization air conditioning which is different from the pre-air conditioning, prior to making the air-conditioning part perform the pre-air conditioning. |
