PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time which is needed until a printing result on a long sheet of paper is presented.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: a printing data receiving unit 101 which receives printing data; a printing data management unit 102 which stores printing position information which is information regarding the position on a long sheet of paper where the printing data is to be printed; an image synthesizing unit 103 which synthesizes a printing preview image which is an image where a document to be printed corresponding to the printing data is placed on the long sheet of paper according to the printing position information stored by the printing data management unit 102; and a display unit 104 which displays the printing preview image synthesized by the image synthesizing unit 103. If the printing data receiving unit 101 receives new printing data while the display unit 104 is displaying the printing preview image, the printing data management unit 102 updates the stored printing position information, the image synthesizing unit 103 synthesizes a new printing preview image that is a printing preview image including the document to be printed corresponding to the new printing data and the display unit 104 displays the new printing preview image. |
