PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a registration method of a printing press that can reduce burden of an operator and to provide a registration apparatus.SOLUTION: When starting printing to printing paper by a printing press 1, a version view preset device 2 associates each data (type, grain direction, paper thickness classification, and paper size classification) of the printing paper in a printing run with positions of each direction of plate cylinders 11a-11d and memorizes them beforehand. Then, when printing to the printing paper by the printing press 1, it is determined whether there is the printing paper which is the same in each data with this printing paper in the printing run. When there is the same printing paper, the plate cylinders 11a-11d are moved to the positions of directions of the plate cylinders 11a-11d memorized in association with each data of the printing paper in the same printing run. As a result, burden of an operator can be reduced, since it is not necessary to regulate the position of the plate cylinder from an initial state. |
