PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which reduces printing density irregularities by performing correction of the quantity of light of light emitting elements, particularly which adjusts density irregularities caused by process strokes by correction of the quantity of light of light emitting elements, and prevents a decrease in image quality.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus which performs image formation to a recording medium by forming an electrostatic latent image to a photoreceptor through emission of light from the light emitting elements based on image formation data, includes: a first memory means which stores light quantity correction data based on emission irregularities of the light emitting elements such as LEDs; a second memory means which stores correction data based on streaks caused by a SELFOC (R) lens or the like; a correction data computing means which performs adjustment of the light quantity correction data by the correction data stored in the second memory means; and a correction processing means which performs light quantity correction of the image formation data on the basis of the light quantity correction data calculated by the correction data computing means. |
