PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, an information processing method, a program, and a microscope system capable of synthesizing a wide-field and high-resolution microscopic observation image by highly accurately combining a plurality of digital images.SOLUTION: By means of an image analysis unit provided in the information processing device, an overall image imaging the entire observation target region is divided into multiple regions, and a likelihood representing an abundance degree of an observation target is calculated for each region. For synthesizing a high-magnification, high-resolution, and wide-field microscopic observation image, a combination sequence generation unit, a combination determination unit and the like provided in the information device determine whether or not an image region correlated with the plurality of partial images is present. When the determination is negative, the combination sequence is reconstructed, imaged and redetermined and, when the determination result is presence, the partial images are synthesized. |
