PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcatheter having a removable tip with biocompatibility.SOLUTION: The microcatheter 10 includes: an elongated flexible tubular body 16 which has a proximal end, a distal end, and at least one lumen extending through the elongated flexible tubular body in an axial direction; a tip body 30 which has a proximal end, a distal end, and a lumen extending through the tip body 30 in an axial direction; and a coupling 100 partially covering both of the tubular body 16 and the tip body 30, which is made of a first material and a second material, the first material being different from the second material, the first material being compatible with the outermost layer of the tubular body and the outermost layer of the tip body, and the second material being configured to form a removable coupling with at least one of the tubular body and the tip body. |
