PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient information provision service by telephone in a system in an IP network or a system interconnected of the IP network with an existing telephone network.SOLUTION: In the information provision service in the IP network, when a subscriber server 32 receives a session join request signal which is converted from an originated call from a (telephone) terminal 30 in an IP conversion device 31, the subscriber server 32 transmits a multicast channel number to the IP conversion device 31. The IP conversion device 31 transmits the channel number to a multicast router 37. Using the channel number, the multicast router 37 acquires voice information provided by an information provision sound source device 38, and transmits the voice information to the (telephone) terminal 30 through the IP conversion device 31.
